Welcome Home
We are so pleased to be unvieling our brand new Website. It has been a long time coming.
There have been many exciting happenings come our way, and many yet to come. It has been a very busy year for us, but we are working dilligently to stay on top of things, and keep you all informed on the latest events.
New line-up:
Everyone, please welcome Lorie "SKY" Strittmatter and GT Bland! We have just acquired two really fantastic guitarists that will rock your socks off! Of course Jerry and myself (Crystal) are still the same...
Lorie has many years experience with organizing gigundous events, and helping to promote local musicians. On top of it all, she turns out to be one excellent guitarist, and ohhh, can she sing!
GT has been teaching stringed instruments for well over 30 years, and holds no prisoners when it is time to play or sing.
We are looking forward to presenting a lot of material that was put on hold for too many years. It is what we refer to as "intelligent music". You know... The material that not everyone can pull off on the stage.
Moving Forward:
Everyone is working as one unit on updating our repertoire, adding vocal harmonies (Yes!) and stepping things up a notch or two. Excitement is buzzing in the air over here, and we all feel great things are about to burst open. For obvious reasons, recording of our CD has been put on hold... Again... But rest assured, when we fire up the recorder next time, we will get the job done!
Reviewing Recent Activity:
Well, we have knocked down five shows so far with our new line-up, each one building upon the last. GT and Crystal have enjoyed lots of spontaneous interplay, and moments of strategically encouraging the other in a little friendly game of "now what you got?" LOL! Add in Lorie's harmonies, occasional lead vocals and solid rhythm playing, along with Jerry's signature style and oddball wit, we have taken our audiences by storm.
Now having two members wireless, no crowd is safe! GT has also begun to introduce his banjo into some of our works, pushing our creativity and live performance to new levels of excitement!
Our audiences have again begun to grow in number and intensity. A heartfelt thank you goes to each and every one who have continued to show your support, and certainly to those of you who are new to the Implied Logic experience.
Looking Ahead:
As we are prone to play a multitude of varying venes, the next few months will find us dilligently working on material old and new, so that we may continue to amaze and amuse audiences of all types! You will continue to find us stretching the limits of music, to places only dreamed of.
Concurrently, scheduling of performances will increase in number. We will continue to appear in locations north and south, and expect to expand further east and west, as well.
So we thank you all for visiting, and know that we are alive and kicking better than ever!
